Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh the annual business award that recognises, honours and celebrates all the great bilingual work done in Galway City is now open for nominations.

The annual Galway Lions Club Charity Auction in association with Galway Bay FM and Eircom will be held on Friday December 12 at the Ardilaun hotel, and will be live on air from 9am – 1pm. Up to 250 items will be auctioned on the morning with all proceeds going directly to disadvantaged families and individuals in Galway city.

This is the sixth year of Mayo County Council Arts Office Annual Youth Arts Programme - Excel. The programme runs throughout the month of November and is aimed at young adults and teenagers. Workshops and masterclasses were provided for groups already in the arts as well as open events for young people who wanted to try something new.
